Senior DevOps Engineer (Databricks) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer specialized in Databricks to join client teams on a remote, project‑based basis across Latin America. You will work side‑by‑side with designers and engineers, ensuring data platforms are reliable, secure, and cost‑efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Databricks environments on AWS for enterprise workloads.
• Automate Databricks jobs, clusters, and serving endpoints using REST APIs and Infrastructure as Code.
• Design, maintain, and extend GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines across multiple repositories.
• Implement code quality, security checks, and SDLC guardrails (branch protection, approval workflows, secret management).
• Manage Databricks Unity Catalog, access controls, and data lineage.
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for cloud and data platforms.
• Collaborate with client teams to design scalable, multi‑environment data platform architectures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
