Tech Lead (Sanity CMS) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive large‑scale Sanity CMS migration projects for our U.S. clients. You will join the client’s existing engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver high‑quality, data‑driven content solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and execution of end‑to‑end Sanity CMS migrations, including content modeling, data mapping, transformation, and validation.
• Design and implement backend services, APIs, and integration layers that connect legacy systems to modern headless CMS platforms.
• Guide a cross‑functional team of engineers, ensuring best practices in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern JavaScript ecosystems.
• Identify technical risks, define migration strategies, and maintain data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product, content, and engineering stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in technical leadership, making architecture decisions and steering teams through complex initiatives.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Node.js in production environments.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Sanity CMS (content schemas, GROQ, migration tooling, APIs).
• Strong background in RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with React and/or Next.js.
• Knowledge of headless CMS architectures and document‑based databases.
• Proficiency in designing scalable distributed systems and cloud deployment workflows.
