Técnico Electricista – Instalación y Mantenimiento de UPS y Data Centers

About the role

Servicios de Ingeniería (SIS) is looking for a proactive and technology‑driven Electrical Technician to work on critical infrastructure projects in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting UPS systems, precision air‑conditioning, and security solutions for high‑level data‑center environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS systems.
• Conduct technical surveys and size equipment for projects.
• Participate in the installation and upkeep of data‑center infrastructure.
• Install and support electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms, DVR).
• Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical and electronic equipment.
• Prepare technical reports documenting work performed.
• Follow company safety and quality procedures.
• Provide on‑site technical support to clients during project execution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement new solutions.

Required profile

• Technical electrician or equivalent training in electricity, electronics, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with UPS installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of equipment sizing and field surveys.
• Experience with data‑center solutions such as precision air‑conditioning, raised floors, fire‑suppression, rectifiers, inverters, battery banks, and PDUs.
• Familiarity with electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, DVR, alarms, automation).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical diagrams (preferred).
• Proficiency with electrical measurement and diagnostic tools.
• Willingness to work on‑site and travel as project demands.
• Proactive attitude, responsibility, and strong customer‑service orientation.
