Agent Services Specialist (Broker Support)

About the role

The Compliance and Agent Support Specialist is the primary point of contact for our brokers, facilitating the contracting process with multiple carriers. The role involves entering broker and brokerage information into a Microsoft Access database, tracking licensing status, and ensuring ongoing compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage the workflow to appoint brokers and brokerages with all applicable carriers and maintain accurate records in the database.
• Provide daily support to brokers for contracting paperwork, commission statements, and status inquiries.
• Deliver systematic status updates to brokerages and internal teams regarding appointment progress.
• Examine data files in Microsoft Excel to generate reports using pivot tables, data validation, and other advanced features.
• Assist with special projects as requested by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Finance, Business or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2‑5 years of experience in employee benefits, human resources, insurance, accounting or a related field preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Self‑directed, able to work both independently and collaboratively, and handle high‑volume periods with flexibility for overtime.
