Analista de Fraude – Análisis de transacciones y prevención

About the role

The Fraud Analyst will evaluate transaction alerts for credit and debit cards, focusing on activities that may indicate fraudulent behavior within the bank's acquiring network. The role involves close interaction with internal systems and external parties to ensure timely and accurate fraud prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze risk‑based alerts generated by fraud‑prevention tools and systems.
• Reprocess and review historical transaction data to decide on preventive or definitive actions for compromised cards.
• Investigate back‑office alerts and forward findings to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Document all analyses in the designated systems.
• Contact merchants or cardholders to verify suspicious transactions or unusual spending patterns.
• Respond to inquiries related to suspected fraud and support related operational activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Fraud Prevention Analyst or 2 years in bank administrative operations.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability, tolerance to pressure and customer‑orientation.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
