About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Assistant to join our team in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The successful candidate will support the purchasing department by developing supplier relationships, managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate and analyse costs of local suppliers for services and inputs.
• Prepare comparative cost tables for approval by the purchasing manager.
• Maintain organized digital and physical records of purchase orders, invoices and delivery documents.
• Coordinate receipt of products and services and follow up payment requests with accounting and treasury.
• Arrange hotel and transportation reservations for company personnel.
• Monitor stock and delivery of computer, telephone and other equipment required by the business.

Required profile

• Graduate in finance, economics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in purchasing or a similar role.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supply‑chain fundamentals.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and capacity to work under pressure.
• Experience in regional negotiations and meeting established deadlines.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
