Bilingual Dental Reception Specialist

About the role

Our client is looking for a Bilingual Dental Reception Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients, both in‑person and over the phone. You will manage appointment scheduling, guide patients through treatment options, and support sales efforts to increase clinic growth while working from home on a full‑time schedule (Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM PST).

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls and greet patients, providing a warm and professional experience.
• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments using dental practice management software.
• Handle patient inquiries about services, pricing, insurance, and financing.
• Promote dental treatments, explain procedures in patient‑friendly language, and address objections to improve treatment acceptance.
• Process patient registration, maintain accurate records, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collect payments, manage billing questions, and assist with insurance matters.
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Track and follow up with potential patients to maximize appointment conversions.
• Maintain front‑office cleanliness and keep reception materials up to date.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a dental reception, dental assistant, or healthcare sales role.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, implants, and procedures.
• Sales acumen with the ability to explain treatment options and overcome patient hesitations.
• Understanding of dental insurance, billing, and payment processing.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and professional integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or EagleSoft.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Google Workspace.
