Bilingual Front Desk / Insurance Specialist – Cardiology

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate bilingual virtual assistant to support a high‑volume cardiology practice. The role involves handling patient communications, scheduling, and insurance verification during EST business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound phone calls, route them appropriately, and respond to patient requests with empathy.
• Communicate lab and test results to patients using secure messaging (TigerConnect).
• Book and coordinate urgent and routine appointments in eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage before appointments.
• Provide general front‑desk administrative support within eCW.

Required profile

• Native or fully fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
• At least one year of hands‑on experience with eClinicalWorks.
• Previous experience working in a U.S. cardiology practice.
• Strong patience, empathy, and professional integrity.

What we offer

• Full‑time contractor position (40 hours/week) with a starting rate of $6 per hour.
• Fixed schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM EST.
