Bilingual French-English Virtual Assistant for Short-Term Rentals

About the role

We are seeking a French-English speaking Virtual Assistant to manage the day-to-day operations of our short-term rental portfolio. The role involves guest communication, reservation handling, and coordination with cleaning and maintenance teams, all performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with guests in French and English via Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO and other platforms.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests and issues throughout their stay.
• Manage reservations, availability, check-ins, check-outs and guest information.
• Coordinate cleaning, maintenance and other property-related services.
• Monitor guest reviews and help maintain high satisfaction standards.
• Assist with listing updates, pricing, and availability.
• Ensure calendars are accurate across all booking channels.
• Escalate urgent guest or property issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience in short-term rentals, hospitality, property management or guest services.
• Familiarity with Airbnb, Booking.com and VRBO.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and flexible hours, including weekends.

Required skills

• Experience with PMS/channel management systems such as Guesty, Hostaway, Hostfully or Hospitable.
• Knowledge of pricing tools like PriceLabs.
• Proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace and task-management platforms.
