About the role

AMPRO, a leading telecom company in Central America, is looking for a proactive Field Collector to manage on‑site debt recovery in San Pedro Sula. The role focuses on building trust with customers while achieving collection targets.

Key responsibilities

• Visit clients, offices, and operational centers to collect overdue payments and negotiate payment plans.
• Identify risks, document findings, and report on‑site observations.
• Implement strategies to accelerate portfolio recovery and reduce delinquency.
• Coordinate with the Back‑Office Collections team for case follow‑up and process reconciliation.
• Apply strategic negotiation techniques and conflict mediation.
• Use handheld collection tools to generate settlement and progress reports.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of field collection experience within Honduras, handling intermediate and advanced arrears.
• Proven track record meeting KPIs such as recovery percentage, collection effectiveness, and delinquency reduction.
• Resident of San Pedro Sula with a valid light‑vehicle driver’s license.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday (8 am‑5 pm) and flexibility for evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
