About the role
The company is looking for a Junior Accountant to lead general accounting activities, ensure accurate financial statements, comply with tax regulations, and control resources. The role also focuses on optimizing accounting and administrative processes through best practices and efficient use of SAP.
Key responsibilities
- Manage general accounting, monthly closings, and financial reporting.
- Maintain internal control and ensure compliance with Honduran tax regulations.
- Prepare strategic reports to support decision‑making.
- Support internal audit activities and financial analysis.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (mandatory).
- 2–3 years of experience in general accounting, preferably as a General or Junior Accountant.
- Experience preparing financial reports.
- Knowledge of Honduran tax law and IFRS (NIIF) is desirable.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SAP for accounting functions.
