Customer Service Advocate

About the role

As a Customer Service Advocate you will help Humana members stay on top of their preventive health care. You will explain screening options, verify eligibility, and schedule appointments for key services such as colonoscopies, mammograms, annual check‑ups, A1C blood tests, and kidney health evaluations.

Key responsibilities

• Explain preventive screening options and benefits to members in both English and Spanish.
• Verify member eligibility and coordinate appointment scheduling with covered providers.
• Navigate multiple call‑center systems to document interactions and update member records.
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail while handling a fast‑paced call volume.
• Meet daily and weekly performance metrics related to call quality and scheduling efficiency.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Availability for full‑time shifts (6 AM – 4 PM CST, five days a week, weekends off).
• Previous call‑center experience with intermediate to advanced technical proficiency.
• Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.

Required skills

• Typing speed of 30 wpm or higher.
• Navigation of multiple computer systems and call‑center software.
