About the role

Proctek Honduras is looking for a technically‑oriented Business Developer to expand its industrial client base in Honduras. The role combines field‑based technical consulting with commercial sales of engineering, automation and electromechanical services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new industrial customers across sectors such as food, consumer goods, energy, cement, oil & gas, and general manufacturing.
• Conduct on‑site visits, technical surveys, and read engineering drawings to capture client needs.
• Prepare and present detailed technical‑commercial proposals, including scope, budget, commercial terms and execution timelines.
• Coordinate internally with engineering, operations, cost, and management teams when proposals require cross‑functional input.
• Maintain organized records of clients, opportunities, visits, quotations and negotiations.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronic, Electromechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B technical sales experience in the industrial sector.
• Existing portfolio of active contacts or customers in Honduras.
• Proven ability to prospect, open new markets, negotiate and achieve sales targets.
