DevOps Engineer – Azure & On-Premise (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work on remote, project‑based assignments for U.S. clients. You will collaborate daily with designers and engineers, focusing on Azure cloud and on‑premise infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters.
• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Manage Azure cloud resources and on‑premise virtualization platforms such as OpenStack, QEMU, or Hyper‑V.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible and Terraform.
• Administer Linux systems (Ubuntu or Talos) and develop scripts in Python and Bash.
• Implement networking, load balancing, DNS, VPN, and security hardening across cloud and data‑center environments.
• Maintain databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse) and distributed storage (Ceph, NFS, S3).
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using Zabbix, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack.
• Integrate vulnerability scanning tools (Snyk, SonarQube) and SIEM solutions (Wazuh) into pipelines.
• Plan disaster recovery and automate backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier).

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree (four‑year college).
• Proven track record with Azure cloud and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams on large, complex systems.
