DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on Azure‑based and on‑premise projects. The role involves integrating with client teams, supporting production environments, and delivering reliable infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale and maintain production Kubernetes clusters on Azure and on‑premise environments.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Manage cloud resources in Microsoft Azure and support physical data‑center operations (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V).
• Administer Linux systems (Ubuntu or Talos), write scripts in Python and Bash, and handle networking components such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs and load balancers.
• Perform database administration for PostgreSQL, Redis and ClickHouse, and manage distributed storage (Ceph, NFS, S3).
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting using Zabbix, Prometheus and the ELK Stack.
• Ensure security hardening, integrate SIEM tools (Wazuh) and vulnerability scanners (Snyk, SonarQube) into pipelines.
• Plan disaster recovery, automate backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier) and troubleshoot complex production issues.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree (four‑year college).
• Proven track record of working in Agile/Scrum teams and taking ownership of deliverables.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
