Driver Support Assistant

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a motivated Driver Support Assistant to join its San Pedro Sula team. You will act as the primary liaison between drivers, dispatch, and customer service, ensuring shipments move smoothly from pickup to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor dispatches originating from Laredo (LRD) and Nuevo Laredo (NLD).
• Handle incoming driver calls, provide timely support, and resolve inquiries.
• Maintain regular communication with drivers to track shipment progress and ensure on‑time execution.
• Follow up on pickup, transit, and delivery status, identifying and addressing potential delays.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives on updates or changes before, during, and after transit.
• Communicate operational changes, delays, and shipment information to relevant teams.
• Assist drivers with operational questions and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure accurate, timely updates in internal systems and proactively identify service issues.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer‑service roles; logistics experience is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Excellent time‑management and multitasking skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
