Edecan – Asistente de Atención al Cliente

About the role

The Edecan works as the front‑line liaison between the bank and its clients, ensuring fast, effective solutions for everyday banking needs. The role focuses on improving client satisfaction by guiding customers through available services and reducing waiting times.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and direct clients, explaining all services available at the branch to avoid wasted time.
• Accelerate client waiting periods by offering alternative transaction channels such as ATMs and self‑service cabins.
• Educate customers on bank benefits and how to use each channel independently.
• Perform checklist inspections of physical service points and report improvement needs.
• Proactively engage waiting clients to speed up service delivery.
• Refer prospective customers to appropriate product specialists within the agency.

Required profile

• University student (minimum 40% of studies) in Administration, Marketing or related fields.
• At least one year of experience in customer service or similar roles.
• Experience in sales, marketing or banking products is a plus.
• Strong orientation to results, customer service and product placement.
• Availability to work weekends when required.
• Residence in San Pedro Sula.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF).
