Employee Relations & Investigations Coordinator

About the role

Charger Logistics Inc., a leading asset‑based carrier across North America, is seeking an Employee Relations & Investigations Coordinator. The role blends legal expertise with HR practice to manage workplace investigations, evidence collection, and disciplinary processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal investigations of policy violations, misconduct, workplace incidents, and other employee concerns.
• Collect, review and analyse evidence such as reports, statements, CCTV footage, communications and internal records.
• Conduct interviews with employees, supervisors and other parties involved.
• Prepare investigation reports, case summaries, timelines and supporting documentation.
• Recommend disciplinary actions and next steps based on evidence review.
• Follow cases from initial investigation through resolution, maintaining accurate and confidential case files.
• Collaborate with HR, Operations, Safety, Claims, Compliance and other departments throughout investigations.
• Support preparation of documentation for potential legal proceedings and coordinate with external counsel when needed.
• Identify legal, compliance and employee‑relations risks and advise management on policy and case handling.
• Assist in improving internal investigation procedures and monitor open cases to ensure timely resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Jurisprudence or an equivalent legal qualification.
• Proven experience in employee relations, labor law, internal investigations, compliance or legal case management.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct interviews, gather evidence and prepare investigation documentation.
• Advanced written and spoken English proficiency.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and judgment skills with meticulous attention to detail.
