About the role

The Financial Intelligence Specialist will design, implement and manage a new financial intelligence system for the corporate finance vice‑presidency of Banco Ficohsa in Honduras. The role focuses on automating processes, information flows and controls to evaluate current and future financial performance and support strategic decision‑making for the bank’s business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop intelligent strategies to assess the organization’s current financial situation.
• Transform manual financial and accounting processes into automated, data‑driven workflows.
• Create interactive dashboards that display real‑time results for senior management.
• Identify optimization and automation opportunities in financial planning.
• Integrate accounting and financial data to build comprehensive analysis tools.
• Participate in discovery workshops, feasibility studies and proof‑of‑concept projects for new financial automation platforms.
• Provide reports and interpret market‑related financial information for Banco Ficohsa leaders.
• Design and implement a financial data warehouse (DWH) consolidating historical accounting data.
• Use high‑quality financial data to generate operational and strategic analyses.
• Develop action plans to improve expense management efficiency.
• Promote compliance awareness and maintain organizational culture.

Required profile

• University degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Financial Planning or Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Strong leadership, assertive communication and strategic thinking abilities.
