About the role

We are seeking a Credit Recovery Specialist for Corporate and Business Special Credits. The professional will restructure and re‑adjust adversely affected loans, ensuring the client’s cash‑flow management and maintaining the bank’s portfolio health.

Key responsibilities

• Restructure and re‑adjust credit terms for distressed corporate and business clients to enable continued commercial operations.
• Implement preventive and corrective actions for the UCE (Special Credit Unit) portfolio and WatchList corporate banking cases.
• Monitor and support extrajudicial and judicial processes, government relations, guarantee execution, and asset accounting and disposal.
• Participate in the administration of guarantee and investment trusts, reducing bank losses.
• Conduct remedial administration activities aimed at decreasing reserves and delinquency.
• Manage governmental relationships for cases where the principal client is the State of Honduras.
• Track credit behavior, payment dates, and compliance with special conditions to drive collection actions.
• Maintain and update credit files and special authorizations, ensuring quality reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration.
• At least 4 years of experience in business, administration, marketing, or project roles.
• Knowledge of structured finance policies, syndicated loans, and relevant regulatory frameworks (CNBS, BCH).
• Experience with due‑diligence compliance and financial analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Moody’s Financial Analyst tools.
