Experienced Spanish Interpreter — Performance Bonuses

About the role

We are seeking remote English‑Spanish interpreters in Latin America to start in Over‑the‑Phone Interpretation (OPI) with a pathway to Video Remote Interpretation (VRI). The role focuses on accurate consecutive interpretation for medical, social services, customer care, and financial clients while maintaining impartiality and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation primarily for medical settings, as well as social services, customer care, and financial clients.
• Maintain complete impartiality and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Start with OPI and transition to higher‑paying VRI roles.

Required profile

• 6–12+ months experience in remote medical interpretation.
• C1 English proficiency (EF SET 4‑Skill, TOEFL, or CAE).
• Preferred certifications: ALTA (9+) or LanguageStat/PICSI (75%–80%) issued within the last 12 months.
• Willingness to obtain HIPAA & FWA certification and pass a clean background check.
• Required tech setup: hardwired Ethernet, USB noise‑cancelling headset, Windows 10+ (min 4 GB RAM), private quiet workspace.
