About the role

Newport Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dynamic Country Manager to lead its operations in Honduras. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on commercial execution to grow the company’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Own the P&L and overall market performance for Honduras.
• Define and implement country‑wide commercial plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with distributors, pharmacy chains, and key institutions.
• Lead the commercial team, including Key Account Managers, medical representatives, and promoters.
• Partner with Human Resources to recruit and onboard medical representatives, promoters, KAMs, assistants, and other staff.
• Identify growth opportunities and strengthen Newport’s brand in the Honduran market.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior managerial positions within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep knowledge of the Honduran pharmaceutical market.
• Strong track record in P&L management, commercial planning, and KPI oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing strategic relationships.
• Business‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
