Gerente Financiero – Renewable Energy Sector

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Manager to lead the financial strategy for a leading renewable energy generation group operating in Honduras and the wider region. The role will directly influence corporate decisions, investor relations, and financing structures for high‑value projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional corporate financial strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Oversee financial planning including cash flow, EBITDA, CAPEX and capital structure.
• Structure and negotiate debt, project finance and bond financing with banks and investors.
• Assess investments, energy projects and long‑term contracts such as PPAs.
• Manage financial risks including currency, interest rates, liquidity and market exposure.
• Maintain and expand relationships with banks, investment funds and multilateral institutions.
• Prepare strategic reports for senior management and the Board.
• Lead and develop the regional finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field, plus an MBA or Master in Finance.
• Minimum 8 years of corporate finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in complex financial structuring and project finance, preferably in capital‑intensive sectors.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical and leadership capabilities.
