About the role

The Senior Compliance Manager will lead the development and strengthening of a robust compliance culture within a regulated financial institution. Reporting to senior leadership, the role monitors regulatory changes, advises the executive team, and coordinates the implementation of controls that ensure transparency, corporate governance and mitigation of regulatory risks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments affecting the organization.
• Advise senior management on compliance matters and corporate governance.
• Design, implement and oversee compliance programs and internal controls.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and supervisory authorities.
• Lead AML/CTF prevention, KYC and due‑diligence processes.
• Collaborate with internal audit, risk and internal control teams to manage regulatory risk.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in regulatory compliance, AML/CTF, audit, risk or internal control.
• Proven experience in the financial sector or other regulated institutions.
• Experience interacting with regulators and supervisory entities.
• Post‑graduate studies or certifications in Compliance, Risk Management, Corporate Governance or AML are highly valued.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience using Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
