Health and Safety Manager

About the role

Superior Glove is looking for a proactive Health & Safety Manager to lead the development, implementation and oversight of health, safety and environmental programs at its Honduras sites. Reporting to the Global HR Partner, you will work closely with local safety teams, HR partners and site leadership to embed a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain safety policies aligned with Honduran regulations, corporate standards and best practices.
• Lead safety meetings, audits, inspections, hazard analyses and the annual safety meeting.
• Investigate injuries, incidents and near‑misses, identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Track safety performance, injury trends and training completion; prepare regular reports for leadership.
• Manage the learning management system, coordinate safety training, toolbox talks and engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive safety coordination or management experience, preferably in a multi‑site manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English with strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Valid passport for travel and willingness to travel up to 5% to other locations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and incident investigation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with safety management systems and learning management systems.
