Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees all housekeeping operations across accommodation, pool, public, crew and pool areas. Reporting to the Assistant and Housekeeping Managers, the role ensures standards are met and guests receive exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day housekeeping activities in assigned areas (accommodation, pool, public, crew).
• Support the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager in achieving division objectives.
• Lead a team of at least 10 employees, providing coaching, scheduling and performance feedback.
• Maintain compliance with cleaning standards, chemical safety, and personal protective equipment protocols.
• Monitor inventory, equipment usage and ensure proper documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a large 4‑ or 5‑star hotel (500+ rooms), cruise line or similar hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to supervise a team of at least 10 staff members.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, safety procedures and PPE.
• Good command of English; additional language such as Spanish is a plus.
