Individual Consultant for Project Implementation Coordination on Antimicrobial Resistance

About the role

The Individual Consultant will support the implementation of the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) project in Honduras. Reporting to the WOAH Regional Representation for the Americas and working closely with WHO/PAHO staff, the consultant will help coordinate technical and administrative activities across multiple UN partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day implementation activities of the AMR project in Honduras.
• Support the technical and administrative coordination team, ensuring alignment with the One Health approach.
• Liaise with the National Multisectoral Commission on AMR and Quadripartite partners (FAO, UNEP, WHO, WOAH).
• Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation required for UN and donor reporting.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in public health, veterinary medicine, environmental science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in AMR or One Health projects, preferably in a multi‑partner setting.
• Familiarity with UN coordination mechanisms and donor‑funded project management.
• Strong analytical and report‑writing abilities.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is an advantage.
