IT Project Manager

About the role

Food For The Poor is seeking a senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, high‑impact technology initiatives across the organization. The role oversees the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with mission‑critical goals while managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through closure, developing integrated plans covering scope, milestones, resources, budget, procurement, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.
• Partner with technical and business leaders to define measurable outcomes, success criteria, and governance requirements.
• Apply appropriate delivery methodologies—Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid—based on project needs.
• Manage vendor engagement, including requirements definition, proposal evaluation, performance monitoring, and contract closeout.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Information Security to support RFPs, contracts, SLAs, and change orders.
• Monitor cross‑project dependencies, escalate issues, and recommend solutions with clear business, technical, and financial implications.
• Drive project closure activities, capture lessons learned, track benefits, and transition deliverables to operational owners.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience delivering large‑scale IT projects.
• Proven ability to act as a liaison among business leaders, technical teams, finance, and external partners.
• Strong governance, financial discipline, and vendor accountability skills.
