IT Site Support Supervisor

About the role

The IT Site Support Supervisor leads the technical team responsible for maintaining servers, applications, databases and overall site infrastructure. This role ensures reliable IT services, coordinates with corporate teams and drives continuous improvement of the site’s technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide complex systems‑administration support, including installation, configuration and maintenance of enterprise software, databases and servers.
• Supervise IT Site Support Technicians: assign work, manage performance and handle employee relations.
• Act as project point‑of‑contact for system‑wide upgrades and server OS migrations.
• Develop and maintain disaster‑recovery plans, schedule regular backups and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Oversee hardware rollouts, desktop/laptop installations, relocations and preventative maintenance.
• Manage generator maintenance and ensure power reliability for the site.
• Address phone‑system issues and create standard operating procedures and documentation.
• Provide on‑call support during evenings, weekends and emergencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with end‑user PC operating systems and enterprise software, including some supervisory or lead experience.
