Laravel & React Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking an experienced Laravel and React developer to join its remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. The role offers the chance to work on high‑impact projects, collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, and grow within a fast‑expanding consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) back‑end services and APIs.
• Build responsive front‑end interfaces using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and integrate them with Laravel via Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk or Playwright to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, estimate effort, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their business goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience with Laravel 8 or newer.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Attention to detail and a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Required skills

• Laravel (Eloquent ORM, Authentication, Query Builder)
• Inertia.js and RESTful API development
• React (or Vue.js, Laravel Livewire)
• Testing tools: Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright
