Legal Intake Specialist (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

A U.S. law firm is hiring a Legal Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for prospective clients. This is a high-volume, performance-driven, 100% remote position based in LATAM, paid $1,200 USD per month. The role combines empathetic client guidance with consultative sales, working full-time on a Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule in Central Time.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls, emails and web leads with a target 7-second phone answer speed
• Qualify prospects by gathering preliminary details and assessing case viability against the firm's practice areas
• Guide qualified prospects toward booking and attending formal legal consultations using consultative sales techniques
• Maintain real-time CRM records with interaction notes and secure pre-consultation documentation
• Coordinate initial video consultations so consultants are briefed and clients are ready to join
• Follow up across phone, SMS and email until an engagement letter is signed

Required profile

• Exceptional spoken and written English, with active listening and a warm, professional phone presence
• Direct experience in high-volume inside sales, legal intake or conversion-focused customer service
• Full-time availability Tuesday to Saturday, aligned with Central Time
• Ability to thrive in a KPI-driven environment (response times, show rates, close rates)
• Fast, accurate CRM data entry and a stable internet connection in a quiet, distraction-free workspace
• Bonus: prior U.S. law firm experience or familiarity with legal practice management software
