Linux Performance Engineer (Remote)

About the role

As a Linux Performance Engineer you will focus on low‑level system optimization, ensuring that Linux‑based workloads run at maximum speed and minimal latency. You will act as the bridge between hardware resources and software efficiency, fine‑tuning kernel and subsystem parameters for high‑performance environments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep‑dive performance analysis across kernel, CPU, memory, and I/O subsystems.
• Use advanced profiling tools such as eBPF and perf to identify bottlenecks.
• Optimize kernel parameters and system configurations for demanding workloads.
• Profile CPU execution and resource utilization to improve computational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide architectural guidance on system tuning and scalability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Performance Engineering.
• Proven expertise in low‑level Linux performance tuning across kernel, CPU, and I/O.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and deep understanding of Linux kernel internals.
• Hands‑on experience with eBPF, perf, and CPU profiling suites such as Nsight or VTune.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
