Local Development Coordinator

About the role

World Vision Honduras is seeking a Local Development Coordinator to lead the management of programs and projects that improve the well‑being of children, families, and communities. The role focuses on delivering sustainable results in line with the organization’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive management of programs and projects across the territory.
• Ensure results align with World Vision Honduras’ strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with partners, donors, and local governments to maximize impact.
• Oversee fieldwork and maintain strong community relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Local Development or related field.
• Training in leadership or project management (desirable).
• Master’s degree (desirable).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership or project coordination.
• Experience managing teams, working with communities, and coordinating with partners or donors.
• Experience in fragile urban contexts.
• Valid driver’s license for a 4x4 manual vehicle and availability for fieldwork.
• English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Proficiency with Power BI.
