Morning Shift Dispatcher

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a motivated Morning Shift Dispatcher to join its team in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. You will coordinate and optimise delivery schedules, communicate with mobile units, and ensure timely, safe deliveries across a diverse fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispatching pending loads, scheduling drivers, and coordinating pick‑up and delivery operations.
• Modify daily routes to meet customer needs, monitor road conditions, and establish alternative routes when necessary.
• Communicate freight requirements and procedures to drivers and provide routing directions.
• Maintain compliance with dispatch standards, update customer web portals, and track load forecasts.
• Enforce safety procedures by monitoring driver reports and equipment status.
• Analyse transportation planning opportunities to reduce costs and optimise trailer pool placement.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in logistics or transportation.
• College diploma or degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer‑service roles.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent time‑management, prioritisation, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
