Morning Shift Dispatcher

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Morning Shift Dispatcher to join our team in San Pedro Sula. You will coordinate delivery schedules, communicate with mobile units, and use routing tools to ensure on‑time, safe deliveries for a variety of freight types.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispatching pending loads and schedule drivers for pickups and deliveries.
• Coordinate and modify daily routes to meet customer needs and address road‑construction or sudden changes.
• Communicate freight requirements, safety procedures, and routing directions to drivers.
• Monitor driver locations via phone, radio, and mapping software.
• Update customer web portals with load information and track drop‑off and hook‑up events.
• Analyze transportation plans to reduce costs and ensure proper trailer pool placement.
• Participate in problem‑resolution with team members and other departments.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of logistics or transportation experience.
• College diploma or degree.
• Minimum 2 years of customer‑service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good time‑management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
