About the role

We are looking for a Junior Regional Cybersecurity Risk Control Officer to support operational and documentary activities related to cybersecurity governance and risk management. The role involves tracking controls, collecting evidence, updating reports, managing findings and assisting with regulatory compliance, helping to continuously improve the security control model.

Key responsibilities

• Verify evidence linked to technical controls such as access management, backups and antivirus.
• Classify and organize evidence to facilitate control supervision.
• Monitor execution of scheduled control tasks, including recertifications and vulnerability scans.
• Upload and maintain compliance evidence in designated repositories.
• Validate documentation supporting key controls like recertifications, backups and incident management.
• Ensure adherence to SLA and agreed metrics for monitoring controls.
• Update and consolidate security KPIs and KRIs, analyze trends and deviations, and flag risks or deficiencies.
• Prepare executive and operational reports with findings, progress and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Administrative Informatics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk or related IT areas.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with detailed documentation.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization.
• Hands‑on knowledge of cybersecurity operations, policies, standards and procedures.
