Senior Accountant for US & Canadian Clients (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of North American (U.S. and Canadian) clients. This long‑term contract position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in LATAM while supporting multiple fast‑growing businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting across several client accounts.
• Review and guide bookkeepers to ensure accurate and complete records.
• Manage general ledger, month‑end close, and bank/credit‑card reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and KPI dashboards.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, support clean‑up projects, and provide documentation for external CPAs and tax professionals.
• Supervise accounts payable/receivable and payroll‑related accounting tasks.
• Evaluate and monitor AI‑driven accounting workflows, ensuring output quality.
• Adapt processes as new automation tools are introduced.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level accounting experience with U.S. or Canadian companies.
• Comfortable handling multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Experience in a startup or small‑business environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently within a fully remote setting.
