Senior Auditor – San Pedro Sula

About the role

The Senior Auditor will ensure that administrative and financial controls are properly applied across branch offices. The role involves conducting comprehensive audits, identifying risks, and driving continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise branch audits.
• Evaluate internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Identify risks, audit findings and improvement opportunities.
• Review administrative, financial and operational documentation.
• Perform cash counts, accounts‑receivable reviews and inventory verifications.
• Validate billing, settlements and supporting documents.
• Coordinate and participate in physical inventories.
• Prepare audit reports with supporting evidence and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate special audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Verify safeguarding of assets, documents and financial resources.
• Advise business areas on strengthening controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in internal, administrative or financial audit.
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks and administrative/financial processes.
• Familiarity with inventory management and accounts‑receivable procedures.
• Ability to handle confidential information and travel to branch locations.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience using ERP systems.
