Senior Bookkeeping Manager

About the role

Dialed In Bookkeeping is looking for a Senior Bookkeeping Manager to own the relationship with 40‑80 bookkeeping clients while leading a small team of Account Managers. This role blends people leadership with deep client partnership, ensuring clients receive accurate financial insights and trust the bookkeeping process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client relationships, conducting regular check‑ins and delivering month‑end financial overviews.
• Coach, train, and support a team of 3‑5 Account Managers, removing obstacles and fostering growth.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex or unprecedented bookkeeping issues.
• Design and implement new processes when client needs evolve.
• Work across multiple software platforms to maintain clean, consistent client deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing client relationships in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor a team and enjoy developing others.
• Comfortable navigating and quickly learning new software tools.
• Ability to translate financial data into clear language for non‑accountants.
• Self‑starter who creates solutions without waiting for a playbook.
• Motivated by a fast‑growing, remote‑first environment.
