Senior Java & Cloud Engineer – Remote

About the role

BairesDev® is seeking a Senior Java & Cloud Engineer to define the architectural direction for multi‑cloud control‑plane services and shape long‑term platform strategy. You will lead the design of highly scalable, secure distributed systems and ensure they perform optimally in modern cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Establish architectural direction for multi‑cloud control‑plane services and define long‑term platform strategies.
• Design and implement robust, highly scalable, and performant distributed systems.
• Leverage containerization and orchestration tools to optimize service deployment and scalability.
• Mentor senior engineering team members and influence technical decisions across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to align infrastructure capabilities with business objectives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven expertise in Java development and designing distributed systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and containerization using Docker.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
