Skilled Trades Recruiter (Forklift Technicians) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Henry North, a U.S. recruiting agency specializing in material handling, industrial automation, and pest control, is looking for a remote Skilled Trades Recruiter to source forklift technicians and mechanics for American clients. The role is fully remote, serving U.S. Eastern or Central time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor job boards such as Indeed and ZipRecruiter daily and contact new applicants the same day.
• Search legacy resumes and proactively reach out to qualified candidates.
• Identify passive talent on LinkedIn and other platforms and initiate conversations about better opportunities.
• Conduct phone screenings, asking about tools, equipment, and career aspirations.
• Follow up persistently, as many technicians may not answer the first call.

Required profile

• Proven recruiting experience in skilled trades (technicians, mechanics, electricians, HVAC, industrial maintenance).
• Fluent English – both spoken and written – for daily phone and video interactions.
• Strong phone presence, clear communication, and professional video‑call demeanor.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Available to work U.S. Eastern or Central business hours (approximately 8 am–5 pm).
• Reliable home office setup with a computer, high‑speed internet, and a quiet, clean background for video calls.

Required skills

• Experience with job boards such as Indeed and ZipRecruiter.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn sourcing and candidate outreach.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).

What we offer

• Base compensation of $1,800 USD per month.
• Performance bonuses ranging from $250 to $500 per successful placement.
• Independent contractor status with up to 10 planned days off per year plus U.S. holidays.
