About the role

As an Audit Staff member at Deloitte in Tegucigalpa, you will gain a deep understanding of the three key phases of an audit – planning, testing and reporting – while providing external audit services to a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing and reporting audit engagements for corporate clients.
• Validate financial information for senior management, boards, investors and lenders.
• Apply data‑analysis tools to assess risks and design efficient audit procedures.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams to deliver high‑quality audit solutions.
• Prepare and maintain work papers in accordance with local financial reporting standards (NIF).

Required profile

• Final‑year student pursuing a degree in Public Accounting.
• 0‑1 years of experience reviewing financial statements and working with NIF.
• Basic proficiency in English.
• Strong communication, client‑service orientation and professional integrity.
• Proactive, team‑oriented and able to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
