About the role

The Warehouse and Port Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, analysing and optimising all warehouse activities to ensure efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, order picking and dispatch of goods. The role combines operational supervision with weight‑control compliance and data‑driven performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily warehouse processes (receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch) and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with transport and planning teams to optimise logistical flows.
• Supervise accurate recording of material entries and exits, including documentation verification.
• Control weighing operations: operate or oversee scales, guarantee precise readings, maintain traceability, report deviations, and manage calibration and preventive maintenance according to metrological standards.
• Analyse productivity, inventory turnover, process times, picking accuracy and weight variances; generate KPI reports and propose operational improvements.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical audits, investigate inventory and weight discrepancies, and collaborate with planning on stock replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, environmental regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Act as liaison between operations, logistics, transport and quality control, providing timely information to management.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management or related operations.
• Proven ability to supervise personnel and manage quality control of agricultural raw materials.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental standards in warehouse and weighing operations.
