About the role

Gildan is seeking a Laboratory Test Technician to support its CTex Lab. The role involves executing standard testing methods on garment materials, ensuring accurate data capture and compliance with internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical tasks for all test requisitions following standard test methods.
• Execute and document test results using approved formats.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in testing areas.
• Interpret and apply internal work instructions and standard methods.
• Maintain lab logs, ensure proper use of resources and tools.
• Keep up‑to‑date, traceable records for every test performed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Physical Sciences, Materials Science, or Biochemical/Biological Sciences.
• No prior work experience required.
• Basic computer and software proficiency.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Intermediate experience handling laboratory equipment and practical lab work.
