Transportation Coordinator – Logistics Dispatch

About the role

Charger Logistics is seeking a motivated Transportation Coordinator to join its growing team. You will be responsible for coordinating driver dispatch, monitoring shipments, and ensuring efficient route planning across our North American network.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for freight pickups and deliveries, optimizing daily routes.
• Monitor shipment progress and driver locations using communication tools and mapping software.
• Provide customers with timely shipment status updates and help resolve freight‑related issues.
• Adjust routes based on traffic, operational needs, or customer requirements.
• Enter and maintain accurate load information in internal systems and customer portals.
• Assist drivers with routing guidance and ensure compliance with freight procedures and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address operational challenges and maintain service quality.
• Analyze transportation planning opportunities to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree.
• Previous logistics or customer service experience is an asset.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and tactful conflict escalation.
• Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Fluency in English.
