Virtual Assistant to CEO (Remote)

About the role

Viva is hiring a full-time remote Executive Assistant to support fast-growing US and Canadian startups. The role is hands-on and proactive: you take ownership, anticipate needs and help executives stay organized and one step ahead. It is open only to candidates living in Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay or Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Support up to three executives across admin and operations
• Manage calendars, inboxes, meetings, travel and expenses
• Build and improve workflows, trackers and documentation
• Support projects, reporting and process improvement
• Coordinate across teams and stakeholders
• Track deadlines, dependencies and deliverables
• Spot inefficiencies and propose better systems

Required profile

• 2+ years of general work experience
• At least one of the last three roles lasted 2+ years (no job hopping)
• Fluent English (C1 level); previous Executive Assistant experience is not required
• Detail-oriented, execution-focused, comfortable with fast-paced environments
• Reliable, proactive and confident communicating with leaders

Required skills

• Google Workspace, Slack, Notion and similar tools
• Interest in AI and automation tools

• Full-time contractor position: $1,200 USD base, up to $1,600 USD per month, plus performance bonuses
