Virtual Medical Receptionist / RN Care Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, clinically trained Virtual Medical Receptionist and RN Care Coordinator to support a multi‑specialty practice covering Orthopedics, Pain Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehab, and Neurology. Working remotely, you will use your nursing background to manage complex case files, coordinate insurance workflows, and provide compassionate communication for patients and legal partners.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, texts, and emails with a professional, clinically grounded approach.
• Perform insurance verifications, prior authorizations, and benefits tracking for Commercial, Personal Injury, and Workers’ Compensation plans.
• Manage and maintain detailed Workers’ Comp and Personal Injury case files, ensuring audit‑ready documentation.
• Coordinate provider schedules, patient consultations, and multi‑channel communications to keep daily clinical workflows running smoothly.
• Align medical records with legal and insurance partners, facilitating seamless case progression.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license – non‑negotiable.
• Minimum 3 years of hospital or acute‑care nursing experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant or Remote Patient Care Coordinator.
• Fluent English; candidates based in the Philippines (English‑only) or LATAM (English + Spanish).
• Hands‑on experience with Commercial, Personal Injury, and Workers’ Compensation insurance processes.
