Gestor de Desarrollo Integral

About the role

World Vision Honduras is seeking a Gestor de Desarrollo Integral to lead community development initiatives in Guajiquiro, La Paz. The role focuses on empowering vulnerable children and families through participatory projects, volunteer mobilization, and local capacity building.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor community development projects that address the needs of children, adolescents and youth.
• Mobilize, train and supervise community volunteers to support project activities.
• Apply participatory methodologies to engage beneficiaries in planning and decision‑making.
• Coordinate with local partners, authorities and World Vision staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Travel within the assigned zone, reside in the area of influence and maintain regular field presence.

Required profile

• University or technical degree in Social Sciences, Pedagogy, Agronomy or related fields.
• Minimum two years of experience in community volunteer management and local development projects.
• Willingness to live in the project area for the duration of the assignment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motorcycle.
