Jr. Sales Executive

About the role

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a motivated Junior Sales Executive to drive growth across its traditional channel and indirect trade in the San Pedro Sula region. You will act as the strategic link between the company and its distributors and wholesalers, ensuring effective route‑to‑market execution and delivering commercial excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Execute strategic route plans and field standards for assigned distributor and wholesaler accounts to meet volume and profitability targets.
• Partner with distributor sales teams to coach, train, and align field personnel on customer service and product execution.
• Analyze sales performance, distribution coverage, and inventory rotation to identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor promotional activities, track competitor moves, and recommend agile commercial actions.
• Conduct structured field visits and customer consultations to maintain service standards and strong partner relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• Intermediate level of English.
• At least 6 months of professional experience in commercial roles, preferably 6‑12 months in sales or sales supervision.
• Previous experience in the FMCG industry and a solid understanding of commercial sales and marketing execution.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑management abilities.
