Recruiter – Staffing Industry (Remote, PST Hours)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Recruiter to work remotely for a U.S. staffing agency on behalf of Valatam. The role involves managing the full recruitment cycle for temporary and temp‑to‑hire placements, maintaining accurate ATS records and meeting recruitment KPIs in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Source active and passive candidates through job boards, social media, databases and other channels.
• Screen applicants and conduct initial interviews.
• Manage candidate pipelines, submissions, interview scheduling and follow‑ups.
• Prepare candidates for client interviews and hiring processes.
• Maintain complete and accurate ATS records of all interactions.
• Support temporary and temp‑to‑hire staffing initiatives.
• Monitor recruitment KPIs such as calls, submissions, placements and turnover.
• Communicate professionally with candidates, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Leverage AI and recruitment technology to improve productivity.
• Assist with additional recruitment and administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C1/C2) with advanced written and spoken communication.
• 1–5 years of recruitment experience across various roles or industries.
• Strong candidate‑sourcing and outreach abilities.
• Experience working with recruitment KPIs and performance targets.
• High attention to detail, organization, urgency and accountability.
• Ability to write concise candidate summaries and communicate directly.
• Comfortable adopting new systems, processes and AI tools.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. PST and adjust local schedule accordingly.

Required skills

• TempWorks or similar staffing ATS.
